ISARS Solutions was founded with one goal: make efficient mosquito protection accessible everywhere — without the use of chemicals, without harm to the environment, and without the biological resistance that is rendering today's technology obsolete.
Our device combines AI that runs directly on the hardware — no cloud, no internet dependency — with precision acoustic engineering to detect, identify, and respond to individual mosquitoes in real time. It runs a closed-loop cycle every 250 milliseconds — a signal that never repeats and can never be habituated to.
We are currently enrolled in the Catalyst Programme at Southampton Science Park, an 18-week accelerator that selected us from a competitive cohort of deep-technology ventures. Our acoustic AI was trained on over 433,000 labelled wing-beat samples and has been verified running in real time on edge hardware.
Our AI training corpus draws on the HumBugDB acoustic dataset, with which Dr Marianne Sinka— one of the world's leading malaria vector researchers — is closely associated.
