ISARS has earned recognition from enterprise competitions, accelerators, and leading academic researchers — entirely on the strength of our AI results and technical approach.
Catalyst Programme
Selected for the 18-week deep-technology accelerator at Southampton Science Park. Zero equity taken. Dedicated mentorship, facilities access, and introductions to the regional investor network.
Champions of Champions
Nominated to compete at the national Champions of Champions competition, November 2026 — representing our accelerator cohort against ventures from across the UK.
Enterprise Forum — 3rd Place
Placed third at the Enterprise and Social Business Forum (ESBF), competing against venture teams from a competitive cohort of student-led enterprises.
Enterprise Fund Award
Awarded a competitive grant following rigorous assessment by an enterprise panel to support prototype development and hardware procurement.
Oxford Research Collaboration
Collaboration with Dr Marianne Sinka, a leading malaria vector researcher, whose acoustic dataset forms the backbone of our AI training corpus.
Camsoton NGO Partnership
Formal partnership with Camsoton NGO, providing direct community access in malaria-endemic regions for field deployment and real-world efficacy testing.
Phase 1 — AI Model Training
CompleteDetection and classification models trained on 433,851 samples. All five candidate models verified running in real time on Raspberry Pi 5 edge hardware. Acoustic output chain fully integrated and tested.
Phase 2 — Acoustic Chamber Testing
In ProgressControlled experiments with live Anopheles mosquitoes in an acoustic chamber. Objective: quantify repulsion efficacy and generate publishable results.
Built on credible domain relationships
Dr Marianne Sinka
Research CollaboratorOne of the world's leading malaria vector researchers and co-creator of the HumBugDB acoustic dataset, which forms the backbone of our AI training corpus. ISARS is in discussion with Dr Sinka regarding acoustic chamber access to support Phase 2 trials.
Camsoton NGO
Field Deployment PartnerCharitable organisation with established presence in malaria-endemic communities, providing the on-the-ground access required for real-world field trials and community-level impact measurement.
